Description

Revo Nozzle Holders

I made two version of Revo nozzle holders to go with my remix of the E3D Revo Gridfinity Box (https://www.printables.com/model/581066-e3d-revo-gridfinity-box). One version is flat, fitting perfectly in the box and one version holds as many nozzles as possible, while you can still easyily pick them up. But is a bit higher.

Swiveling Revo Nozzle Box

This box offers a flat design that displays your nozzles nicely. You can swivel out each row of nozzles for easy access. This box is remixed by the swiveling desing of …

For this version you need to print

  • 1x the SwivelingRevoNozzleBox.stl
  • 3x the SwivelingRevoNozzleHolder.stl

STL files are already correctly oriented for printing. Print with 0.2mm layer hight, 3 perimeters and 15% infill. I used PLA for my prints.

For installation just clip the SwivelingRevoNozzleHolder in the box, with the solid side facing top/front.

How to use:

Vertical Gridfinity Revo Nozzle Box

During a discussion with @Koosh he mentioned that he swiveling design does use quite some space and that there might be a more efficient way to store more nozzles in a smaller space. So the vertical variant of the Gridfinity Revo Nozzle Box was born.

Currently you have the choice between a 2x2, 2x3 and 2x4 version. The 2x2 version holds 4 nozzle holders, the 2x3 version holds 6 nozzle holders and the 2x4 version holds 8 nozzle holders. To install the nozzle holder you simply clip it in place. If you want to remove it insert a small flat screw driver on one side of the nozzle holder between the holder and the box and pull.

The modular design of the nozzle holders has two advantages. It allows to print the nozzle holder in the orientation where it is the strongest (laying down versus upright) and it allows to to easily color code your nozzles without the need for an MMU.

For this version you need to print

  • 1x the Vertical Gridfinity Revo Nozzle Box 2x2.stl (or 2x3 or 2x4)
  • the matching amount of the RevoNozzleHolderfor5nozzles.stl or RevoNozzleHolderfor4nozzlespluslabel.stl for the Box you chose.

STL files are already correctly oriented for printing. Print with 0.2mm layer hight, 3 perimeters and 15% infill. I used PLA for my prints.

I also added two version of the nozzle holder. One with five slots for nozzles that uses the available space most efficiently and one that holds only four nozzles but has some space to add a label.

The nozzle holders are based on the awesome design by https://www.printables.com/@Fabian_172995 especially the E3D Revo Nozzle Organizer (Bosch Pick & Click)

The gridfinity part is based on my https://www.printables.com/model/369952-gridfinity-bin-empty-parametric model.
