3D model description

I often switch between using PLA and PETG for prototyping. I created this named spool ring to help distinguish between the two materials and reduce cardboard dust and spool slippage in my Bambu AMS. This ring, printed in two colors, will make it easier to differentiate between materials on a rack. Printing takes less than 30 minutes and can quickly be snapped onto cardboard or plastic spools. While it was primarily designed for Overture, it works just as well with Polymaker, Pollyterra, and every other cardboard spool I've used. By attaching this model to the cardboard spools, only the plastic edge will come into contact with the AMS, which solves most of the cardboard AMS issues.

V5 has flipped-over letters compared to V4, so the letter orientation reads correctly on the top of the AMS. Most are set with four gaps, but the poly-terra has five gaps to laugh with the filament lock holes.

3D printing settings

Designed in mm, select "Yes" when the conversion prompt comes up. Print it flat without supports and no need for a brim. PLA is best for a quick and easy print.
