A very cheap and easy filament storage rack with optional name plates.
The 3mf file is set to standard in gyroid but if you're wanting that extra strength then please change it to strength in the bambu slicer.
Materials:
I used a heavy duty pvc 25mm pvc piping in 2 metre lengths. I got mine from tool station here in the uk
25mm Heavy Duty Round PVC Conduit 2m Black | Toolstation which cost me £1.89
Filament (Jayo 1kg PLA+) i used about 1.2kgs of filament to build my 3 tier, 48 roll racking. so over all it set me back around £22 ($27)
Printing:
First print off the legs which is in 3 parts, you will only need to print these once depending on how long your racking is. If you're going over 2 meters long then please add another middle support to stop any sag.
Vertical support brackets are set in 6 on the 3mf file as this will be enough to create a 3 tier racking but please print as much or as little as you would like.
Each row will need the two ends without the legs and middle bracketss, The vertical support bracket will just fit into each row and the next row will sit on them and slide into place.
The pvc pipe may be a little snug at pushing through so i did use a spray bottle to lubricate them to slide through but overall it took me 5 minutes to throw it together. Its exceptionally strong.
