3D model description

THIS IS ONLY THE BODY KIT!

Looking for the original Meteorite? Find it here: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/airsoft-impact-cap-gun-ring-grenade-meteorite

Here's the traditional M67 style grenade body kit for the Meteorite airsoft impact cap grenade system. This is NOT the standalone grenade, just the body and Spoon for people who have already purchased the standard Meteorite system. You will need a completed Fuze head and a Cap Carriage to use this kit.

To use this kit, simply use the body in the same way as any other Meteorite grenade. The spoon hooks onto the conventional Fuze in the same manner.

For airsoft use ONLY. Use only on private land with permission or at a proper airsoft site. Use responsibly, I'm not responsible for any harm or damage from misuse or malicious use of this device. Check with your airsoft site first. Keep away from ears, this is still a noisemaker at the end of the day. Do not use in confined spaces. Unload/disarm before entering safezones. Wear face protection when playing airsoft. Do NOT store or transport loaded. Be careful where you throw this, it's lighter than a BFG but is still a solid object. FOR CAP GUN CAPS ONLY!

I do not authorise reselling of this design, physical or electronic.

Caps, bolts, springs, threadlocker, Fuze head, Cap Carriage, pins and key rings not included.

3D printing settings

This is the filament I use (affiliate link): https://amzn.to/495DR9W

Printed on a Creality Ender 3 with eSun PLA+, I am yet to break anything on my personal Meteorite grenade made out of the same stuff. I highly recommend the PLA+ family.

Layer height/resolution: I tend to use 0.24mm for a blend of speed and finish. Spoon is less fussy due to lack of threading.
Infill: 20% Grid minimum. I also recommend adding an extra wall for the Body. I also used Fuzzy Skin mode on the Body, outside ONLY for the Body or the threads won't be happy. It's not essential but I love the textured finish.
Temperatures: Will vary depending on material, but I use 200C Nozzle and 60C Bed. I use a Creality Coated Glass bed.
Supports: Yes. But critically, make sure to set the support angle to 80 degrees. This will ensure that the only support material is in the ports.
Bed adhesion: None should be needed, but a Skirt always helps purge your extruder.
Material: As mentioned I use PLA+ but this should work with any FDM material.
