Now you can print your own Macaron display tower!! This listing is for the digital files so you can 3D print your own Macaron Pyramid. This pyramid design provides you with a modern way to display French Macarons for weddings, corporate events, baby showers, and more. Small Macaron Pyramid STL file is printed in one piece and can display 24 French Macarons. Larger Macaron Pyramid Base Extender will need to be printed 4 times and glued together to create base that goes underneath Small Pyramid -- combined will hold 84 Macarons.

SMALL PYRAMID DIMENSIONS:
- Height is 6.3" (160mm)
- Width is 8.5" (215mm) (Pyramid itself is 7.25" without counting Macaron Shelves that stick out from pyramid)
- Each Macaron shelf is 0.78" depth (20mm)

LARGE PYRAMID DIMENSIONS (when both layers are assembled):
- Height is 11.8" (300mm). Each extender piece when printed will be 143mm high. Need to print 4 pieces and assemble.
- Width is 15.0" (380mm). Each extender piece when printed will be 190mm width
- Each Macaron shelf is 0.78" depth (20mm)

3D printing settings

Printing Suggested Settings:

  • FDM 3D Printing model
  • Suggest Food Safe PLA: CARBON Brand - Certified Food Grade PLA+ Filament
  • Print temp: 200 degrees Celsius. Bed temp: 60 degrees Celsius
  • Layer height: 0.2mm
  • Infill: 20-30%
  • Build Plate Adhesion: Brim (especially on Large Pyramid Base Extender)
  • Enable Z-Hop (helpful if you've ever had prints getting knocked off bed by print head)
  • No supports needed. Note with the Large Base extender, the inside built-in-supports included in the design that print along the bed can be removed once printing complete -- they are just there to stabilize the vertical build of the design.
  • Bottom Layer: MUST PRINT 4 and assemble by gluing sides together. Suggest using a food safe glue (like SIL-BOND RTV 4500 silicone sealant)
