The release of the A1 Mini came with a unique opportunity for a better Filament Hub for us X1/P1 owners. With the right adaptor it outperforms a majority of the printed ones that were popular. The recent release of the 4-in-1 is more targeted, but that seems to be more out of stock than not. My adaptation is fine tuned from a few alternative PTFE routes, this one to move it behind the Buffer. In this position it replaces the more expensive Hub that allows for up to 4x AMS chained up. The advantage also extends to dry boxes and other external feeds. In this set up it has added functionality as the Buffer will “read” there is external feed when filament is fed into the Buffer if the AMS hasn't been triggered. I designed this to be a fit and forget, there are no permanent changes also. So more printing and less fuss.
