These in house made dowel inserts are made by PrintablesAuto for a BMW N52 and are made to allow the alignment of the N54 twin turbo intake manifold to the block of the N52. Tested and snaps into place*

Customers looking to add a N54 manifold can expect a higher peak in horsepower while sacrificing some low end torque in comparison to the stage 3 intake manifold.

Recommended for manual transmissions OR Automatic 325i/330i transmission tune, as this allows you to gain some more peak power by raising the redline to 7500rpm.

The 328i automatic transmission restricts the raising of redline and is recommended to stick with the stage 3 intake manifold from the 325i or 330i

To gain to full benefit of the N52, pair this mod with a 3.91 differential out of a automatic 328 xdrive, and engine breathing mods for intake and exhaust.

And for a N52 turbocharged or supercharged build, highly recommend the N54 manifold for its design for boost and the reliability of less moving parts (I.e. disa valves)

Slight modification to CCV system may be needed. 

*Due to print variability, recommended to apply a dab of RTV around the dowel for reduced chance of dropping out of intake during removals.
