I discovered I needed a stylus for klipper screen because some of the buttons on my 3.5" touch screen were just a bit too small to accurately tap with my finger or fingernail. I wanted something fun and was looking to practise more of my openscad design skills so I came up with this.
There are 2 pen styles to choose from: nice rounded pencil or old-school flat-edged hex pencil. The default width is a little skinny, and the length was sized for my hand and what I found comfortable but all properties can be adjusted so you can make changes to suit your purpose.
I printed with Polymaker Wood filament, but anything should work fine.
Supports are needed since the overhang of the pencil tip is pretty aggressive, but you can adjust that in the OpenSCAD design file if you want to make it more shallow by adjusting the “tip length”
I plan to upload a video soon of how I modelled this stylus, and I'll update the description here when it is ready.
