Description

Do you, or anyone you know, suffer from being vertically challenged? Have you ever spent hours in a chair where your feet don't quite touch the ground, leading to discomfort, pain, or even long-term issues? It's easy to solve this at home, but what about on the go?

Enter this tiny lightweight 2" tall stool! It clocks in at 6 inches long, 5 inches wide, and 2 inches tall, and the legs can be removed and firmly locked into the underside, at which point it's only 1 inch thick! It can fit in a handbag, small purse, or possibly even some pockets! The legs are held securely in place but at the same time removal is not difficult.

This is exactly the type of problem 3d printing solves! You can't even find a commercial product with this combination of features.

NOTE: I suggest you print the updated version instead of this one, the friction fitting legs wear out eventually making it hard to use- https://makerworld.com/en/models/381302#profileId-281533

The 3mf is uploaded with manual supports only under the center of each locking mechanism, primarily because it's difficult to remove supports from that small area. The four fins on either side are not well-supported but have always come out functional in my prototypes, and if one (or even two) aren't formed right the mechanism will still function just fine. Another option could be to print it at an angle, but I really like the texture you get from printing the top on a textured PEI plate.
