Okay, this one took me awhile. I hate the artwork for the Bishamon. It does not make any sense with the name, is ugly, and the art does not reflect the stats of the mech. So this a total reinterpretation of the Bishamon mech. I had three goals:
1) it is less ugly than the original.
2) it incorporates homages to Bishamonten, the Japanese God of War.
3) it looks like it has heavily armored legs and that it could move fast (7/11).
I will let you all judge on #1 and #3. For #2 I will point out several features. Bishamonten is associated with the Pagoda and the Spear. The bottom of the torso uses a trio of "roofs" and on the back I added a series of rings similar to the Kurin on the Sorin atop pagodas. The feet are designed to mimic the shape of the spear Bishamonten is often pictured with. Moreover, each knee has a "Bi" on it in homage to Kenshin Uesugi (Samurai warrior referred to as the God of War in his time), who fought under the banner of Bishamonten (that letter painted on banner).
The mech itself is a surprisingly feisty little bugger. At 45 tons this quad mech moves at 7/11 and packs 10.5 tons of armor. It is one of the only mechs I can find that has more armor on the legs than the CT, and that is not because the CT is under armored. 10.5 tons of armor is more than WHM-6R or a Victor 9A and it moves as fast as a Jenner. Offensively, the original mech is quite respectable with 2 ERML, 2 MPL, and an MRM 20. These weapons need a closer engagement range, but the mech has the speed to dictate what ever range it desires. Again, to contextualize this, this mech should be able to put out damage on par with (if not slightly better than) an Awesome 8Q.
The later two variants, the 4K and 5KC, differ very little in speed and armor, but the other features are notable. The 4K adds a C3 master computer, which is really cool as it becomes one of the lightest C3M mechs. Then the designers shit the bed by only arming the mech with weapons effective within ECM range (2 ERSL, 2 MPL, and an MRM 10). So, you can't do anything to a mech with ECM if you want to maintain the C3 network. I cannot fathom any designer being this dumb. The Charger makes more sense. For this reason, I made a 4KA model which drops both ERSLs and an MPL in favor of 3 ERML. This by no means makes the mech a long range threat, but at least it can do something respectable at ranges outside of an ECM bubble (while still staying true to the types of weapons the mech had).
5KC is far less dumb than the 4K. It drops the MRM 20 and one ERML from the 3K in favor of a snub nose PPC, guardian ECM, and a C3 slave. It puts out less damage, but theoretically it should be more accurate.
The model prints in two parts: torso and legs. Included are the 4 Torsos for the three cannon variants and my refit of the 4K. Also, I have 5 poses for the legs: standing, creeping, walking, defensive, and a tall peeking stance. But I really don't think anyone should print the tall legs. I made those merely to show the possible height variations the mech could have. I included them only because I believe yall should have the freedom to print what you want. All of the stances except for the creeping stance should be able to just barely go onto a standard hex. I added a hex for the creeping stance that you can glue to the "hips" of the mech.
