The Printable Watch (TPW) V1.0

The Printable Watch is a 3D Printed watch designed around the NH35 platform.

This has been a passion project of mine for the last few months.

I am an avid watch enthusiast and I enjoy making functional things. I was surprised to find that there are very limited 3D printed watch projects, the one’s that do exist are very obviously home-made. I wanted to create something that looks and feels like a “real” timepiece.

Key features of The Printable Watch include:

• Easy to build - I have designed the watch so that it is easy to print and assemble. I wanted this to be a gateway into watch making, hence there are few speciality tools required.
• Based on standard parts – The watch is based on the TMI NH platform. There is a massive range of dials, hands and other parts that are readily available at very accessible prices.

The Printable Watch is not just a watch; it is the ultimate reflection of the wearer’s personality. Not only does it show that you are a creator, but it gives you the opportunity to create and wear a time-piece exactly to your taste. This could be a brash, yellow case with a pink dial or could be stealthy all matte black, the possibilities are endless.
