Yet another Desiccant container

The main reason for my decision to design a new desiccant container that can hold a digital humidity sensor, along with a specialized lid-sheet to protect the sensor, stemmed from the observation of several shortcomings in the existing designs in the market ( just joking! please don't come at me T_T, jk ).

Firstly, most desiccant containers currently available do not have adequate provisions for holding a digital humidity sensor. This poses a challenge in terms of real-time and precise humidity monitoring within the container. Sensors, when used, often had to be positioned externally or in makeshift conditions, thus, not providing optimum readings.

The inclusion of a specifically designated area for the humidity sensor in the container design ensures an accurate and consistent measure of the internal humidity level. This not only allows for robust humidity control, but also provides detailed data which can help in preventing any unexpected detriments to the materials contained within due to humidity fluctuations.

Secondly, the role of the desiccant is to absorb the moisture, but simultaneous exposure to the humidity sensor could potentially harm or interfere with the sensor's operations. Without any significant barrier or protection, the moisture-absorbing particles of the desiccant could corrode or block the sensor, causing inaccurate readings and potentially accelerating depreciation of the sensor.

Introducing a lid-sheet that fits exactly in between the sensor and the desiccant within the container, therefore, was an essential addition to maintain the longevity of the sensor while also ensuring its proper functioning.

Container One Height: Approx. 75mm Diameter: 50mm Fill Height: 52mm Fill Weight: 82g

Extended height for additional desiccant accommodation. Ideal for larger storage requirements due to increased fill weight. Capable of providing longer-lasting humidity control. Suitable for larger spools needing moisture-absorption.

Container Two Height: Approx. 60mm Diameter: 50mm Fill Height: 41mm Fill Weight: 53g

Smaller dimensions, ideal for compact spaces. Lower fill-weight, suitable for smaller storage requirements. Can fit comfortably into tighter spaces due to its reduced height. Does not stick out if used for vacuum-sealed bags.

Both containers are designed with a space for the typical digital humidity sensor. The protective lid-sheet enhances the efficacy of humidity management and ensures maximum longevity for the sensor.

The hole-size is 1.2 mm so silica-gel with 1.5mm and up can be used without any problems, personally I like the version with indicator :D
