I have a noob question what does the PLA that has red and white mean?

Hmm, interesting. Should just be red. I've never seen a checkered version of that before. Any red will work. I used elegoo pla Red, White and Black for mine. :)

Parts are really hard to fit together.

what did you have trouble with?

I had to hone out the arm and leg holes. There was no way to get it in otherwise. Broke one leg during the 1st attempt and had to reprint. The hands I’ll probably have to glue in. they don’t stay in on their own.

Printed great. That's the longest print I've ever done. Unfortunately I broke the zip on the hoody when removing supports. 1030kg of filament used, 684kg is poop. There is also a shit ton of poop to stay on top of.

oh no!!! yes, they make the poop. BUT!! I’ve come to be at peace with it because, as with you, was the amount of waste in cost worth more or less than the time you’d spend hand painting this? $5 of waste is EASILY worth the 2-3 or 3-4 hours I’d spend trying to capture all the perfect lines and details the nozzle does. And the more you make at a time, the less purge per purge there is! 😃 thank you for sharing!!!

Great model. Maybe the chest part is easyer if the colors made to separated parts.

I want to print this for my son, but it wastes so much filament. is it possible to separate it so AMS is not needed? Thank you

Same in here.... 640 grams for the torso and the actual object is around 120 grams.

Nice print but struggling to put it together. The hood is difficult to put on and so are the arms

I always recommend sanding the pegs on the arms, hands, neck, and leg pegs before assembly. the layer lines lock and can make it difficult for tight tolerances. the arms have to be tight going in, otherwise they’ll be loose and will not stay in position. the hood is tight to prevent movement as well.
