3D model description

Baseball cap made of articulated fabric, 3D printed from PLA.

Please see this short video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/7Hk1-2h5WbM

The cap is very soft, comfortable and durable. The front is solid, the sides and back are made of 3D printed fabric and attached using quick-connect and durable fasteners.

After downloading you will receive 7 STLs, but also the link to download my customizer program for applying your picture to the front of the baseball cap. App is for Windows (Windows 7, 8, 10, 11). If you have MacOS or Linux, you can use the additional program WineHQ to work with this program.

For these STL files, you will get a baseball cap with a head girth of 62 cm (this is a large head, a little big for me). To make a baseball cap to your size, you need to change the scale of all STL files in the slicer. If you need a girth of 55 cm (my 9-year-old son), then in the slicer you need to make the scale 89% (55/62 = 0.89)

IMPORTANT! You should print 4 sectors, not 3: A+A+B+C (two sectors A are the same)

I'm amazed that printing quickly on Bambu Lab produces such a soft fabric!

Thanks Marc3DP for printing and showing the cap!

3D printing settings

no supports;
0,4 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm layer height;
20 mm/sec for first layer, 60 mm/sec for other layers;
PLA and silk PLA works great
Total printing time is 20 hours on a regular printer and about 10 hours on Bambulab.

I print by cheapest 3d printer t220s, so your baseball cap should be more accurate if your printer is better.
