3D model description

The U.S. rifle model 1917, also known as the American Enfield, is a modification of the British P14, adapting it to the U.S. military necessities. Those who adopted it to accomplish the same purpose of the P14 were to give the army a simple, cheap, and fast-to-produce rifle to complement their main standard rifle. But unlike the P14, it not only managed to complement the Springfield M1903, but it also managed to surpass it in numbers, being the most common rifle among the American troops during the Great War.

This is a full-scale replica of the M1917 rifle that includes the complete mechanism of the original one, but it was modified to not shoot any type of projectile, making it completely safe.

Frequent questions

Does it accept real gun parts?

No, due to the needs of 3D printing, all models have had to be slightly modified to facilitate printing and improve their performance. Therefore, its parts and the original parts are not compatible with each other.

How much material is required?

The final weight is 860g, but I recommend having 2kg available.

Where can I get the springs?
