Description
I know there are other racks and holders for paints, but I wanted something a bit different, more flexible and still simple to print, without using more filament than needed.
Minimal footprint and filament use, but still very strong. For 28 bottles version with 26mm bottle size: estimated print time 7.6h and 248gr filament.
Good visibility of bottles and also good grip. (not easy to flip them over)
Fusion 360 file included, designed to easy change the bottle size and number of columns. (just change 2 parameters; please check the print screens bellow for more info)
Available profiles and tested for Vallejo bottles: 17ml and 60ml. The hole sizes are: 26mm and 36.8mm. Each profile contains several models with different number of columns. (e.g. 1, 3, 5, 7) Each column has 4 rows.
Simple to print, without any supports. If you generate other sizes using the fusion file, please arrange the model on the plate similar to how I did it in my profiles. (upside down, as this is how I designed the model and the most efficient way to print them without issues)
There is no special design to attach different models between them, but you can easily glue them together. So, you can add from time to time another set of columns, as you need them or even glue together different bottle size columns.
How to change the bottle size and number of columns, if you need something different than already available in my profiles:
open the file in fusion 360 and go to: Modify → Change Parameters (as shown bellow)
finally a perfect solution formij bottles , tried a lot of designs the past few years , yours is hands down the best. Easy to print , doesn't take up lots of space, 5 stars well earned
so glad you like it!!! thank you for your review!!! looks great! i did it for my bottles also.
did you glued them together? i used a strong two parts CA , to be sure they are rock solid.
No didn't , this way I can pick up a set i need and they really are stable enough to stand on their own , I going to print two more large sets for the remainder of my bottles and then I can finally get rid of those old bottle holders ;-)
