3D model description

Have you ever wanted your AAP-01 to be longer and have a stock?

With this carbine kit you have the option to convert your AAP-01 to a carbine, with the short version using the standard barrel length and the long version being made for a 300mm inner barrel.

The Kit is easy to print and easy to assemble and uses minimal required hardware.

Required hardware:
- 3x m3x8 socket head cap screw
- 1x m3 nut
- 2x m3 insert
- 1x m4 screw(long enough for buffer tube mounting style)
- 1x m4 nut
- 1x m5x12 flat head screw
- 1x AEG AR15 style buffer tube
- 1x AEG AR15 compatible stock

Assembly:
- Melt 2 inserts into main receiver
- Insert charging handle with m5 screw loosely put in into main receiver slot(put it in from open side and turn)
- Remove AAP-01 rear sight block(don't loose screws)
- Insert nut into front of main receiver
- Insert AAP-01 upper into main receiver(can also be done with aap-01 outer barrel removed)
- Screw AAP into main receiver with screws from rear sight block
- Screw charging handle into AAP-01 bolt using hole at the back(needs relatively thin hex key)
- Screw on longer outer barrel (optional)
- Attach handguard using 2 screws at the bottom and one at the top
- Insert m4 nut into buffer tube mount at the back of main receiver
- Mount Buffer tube

3D printing settings

I recommend printing the main receiver, handguard and charging handle at 100% infill and everything at 0.2mm layer height. Both the handguard and the receiver need to be printed with support enabled.
