Description

Stackable moss pole with leaf pattern ideal for climbing houseplants. The pole comprises three parts - the anchor, the main pole and the cap. The cap is not necessary, but it closes the pole nicely. All the parts are connected by bayonet lock.
The pole is fully printable without supports thanks to the leaf design. I recommend to print it with a 0.15 mm layer height, but 0.2 mm is also fine. The print is also quite challenging due to lots of retraction, so it is better to print all the parts separately. Without support, the bottoms of the pin can be not so good, so it's good to clear the bottom part with a knife.
For the starter pack of the first three parts you need around 41 grams of PLA, for another pole you need less than 30 grams.

If you print all the parts, you can put them together easily.

The next step is to insert the whole pole into the plant pot. The bottom part of the anchor should be under the soil for stability. You can use it as it is, and plants will climb it nicely.

But a better option is to screw the pole from the anchor and fill it with the sphagnum moss. The plants will love it. The sphagnum moss can be bought in gardens or terrarium shops.

After you soak the sphagnum moss, you can fill it into the pole. You can screw the filled pole back to the anchor. It's good to attach plants first with some string. After a few weeks the plants grow through the moss, so you can remove the string.

If your plant overgrows the pole, you can easily print another pole, and add it to your previous pole, so you can make an almost infinite pole.

Other Issues:the part that goes into the dirt does not fit from your print profile. I printed 2 and same results. I will try scaling it up and reporting back.

I think it's an issue with the thick variant, but the non-thick variant exploded in my hands during assembly so I don't want to provide that version lol.

Parts are the same size and doesn’t fit together.

I had this issue too tried printing it twice but the bottom anchor part is slightly smaller than the pole so it wouldn’t screw on. Other than that everything is good. I’m gonna play around with scaling up a bit if you figure it out can you update me! TIA
