Description

This is a design I quickly cobbled together to wear the Vision Pro in a Quest Pro fashion and not use the light seal.

This means that AR-experiences feel a lot more ‘in your space’ as you get full peripheral vision of the real world.

For VR-experiences, on the other hand, this can be distracting; I am working on comfortable blinders next.

Most importantly (to me) the AVP rests solely on your forehead with no contact to your face.

I recommend attaching velcro hooks to the forehead cup and pad it with either aftermarket Quest Pro forehead pads or memory foam pads made for adjusting helmet fit.

The model can be slid for- and backward on the Vision Pro arms to adjust eye-relief and make space for lens inserts.

I printed it using PAHT with a 0.4 nozzle, 5 walls and 0.08mm layer height. PETG could work, PLA will be too brittle.

Have fun remixing (and cleaning up) but don't sell.

I found that the memory foam cushion that came with my BoboVR M3 headstrap works really well.
