I loved the simplicity of the original design by @ColdWinter, but wanted something a little bigger for my larger/thicker hueforge prints. Once I printed it larger, I realized that I wanted the two pieces connected so that they wouldn't move around as much. So, here is my remix. It is larger - 4.5" tall, standing. The width is set up at 4", but you can actually make that wider, or narrower, by adjusting ONLY the y dimension on the connector piece. As long as you keep x and z the same, the connector piece will fit the end pieces at whatever length you choose. I've created a dovetail connection for stability. Your seam may or may not interfere with that connection. If you find it too tight, you can turn off (or reduce) elephant's foot compensation, or simply sand down the end that has the seam. You won't see it, as it will be hidden inside one of the end pieces anyway. If you find that it's too loose, try increasing the x dimension by .1 of a mm. The connecter piece costs barely $0.10 (based on the cost of my Bambu Matte Charcoal), and takes less than 10 minutes, so if you need to adjust and reprint it, it's not a big deal. I could have designed it to print standing up as one piece (I actually did), but for strength, it is much stronger printed laying down.
