Wet or old filament?

Replying to @kstudioca :
the filament has been sitting around for a while, probably both, not a problem though for this model's use anyway

This is one of the most useful models I’ve found so far on makerworld. This makes it very easy to transfer filament on cardboard spools to the reusable ones for AMS. It printed very well except for some stringing which is pretty unavoidable with a design like this. I printed mine out of ABS so I just brushed over the entire print with a lighter and it got rid of all the stringing.

. I printed several of these very easy, very useful I do have one question, The AMS arrow is that the direction in which the AMS feeds down That the filament should tail out of? it looks like it’s identical when I look at the spool core so I’m not sure why it needs to be in a certain direction for the AMS if you could explain that.

It's to retain the consistency of direction, like official Bambu's spool and for users who use Dual Slot Filament Clip that needs to be on the right side: https://makerworld.com/en/models/139661#profileId-152234
