This is a spare part (release button left, right) for the KÄRCHER WV 75 window cleaner.

This is not an original part from KÄRCHER and is not perfect; but it serves its purpose. I recommend replacing both buttons because I have found that the differences to the original can lead to problems if the replacement part is only installed on one side and is intended to be used in conjunction with the original part. It is also recommended to make the buttons with PETG filament.

Function and assembly:
The function of the buttons is to unlock the upper part of the device by pushing them at the same time. The two buttons are installed individually, which requires unscrewing the housing. The spring sits on the pins/cones of the buttons. When inserting the buttons, make sure that they sit straight in the guidance and do not tilt. The two barbs have to overcome resistance “inside”. The original part is more flexible and can be easily squeezed by hand; For the replacement parts, I recommend pushing the button straight and carefully until the hooks have given way enough for them to "slide in".

More information:
Depending on the print quality, it is possible that the buttons sometimes hang or offer resistance. If they are unusable, I recommend refinishing the surfaces with fine sandpaper. The buttons don't have to be pushed in as far as the original to unlock the case.

Es handelt sich um kein Originalteil der Firma KÄRCHER und ist nicht perfekt; aber es erfüllt seinen Zweck. Ich empfehle beide Knöpfe auszutauschen, da ich die Erfahrung gemacht habe, dass es aufgrund der Abweichungen zum Original zu Problemen kommen kann, wenn das Ersatzteil nur einseitig verbaut ist und im Zusammenspiel mit dem origianllem Teil verwendet werden soll. Außerdem ist es empfehlenswert die Knöpfe mit PETG-Filament herzustellen.

Funktion und Montage:
Die Funktion der Knöpfe besteht darin, den oberen Teil des Gerätes durch Zusammendrücken zu entriegeln. Die beiden Knöpfe werden jeweils einzeln verbaut, wozu ein Aufschrauben des Gehäuses notwendig ist. Auf den Stiften / Kegeln der Knöpfe sitzt die Feder. Beim Einführen der Knöpfe ist darauf zu achten, dass sie gerade in der Führung sitzten und sich nicht verkanten. Die zwei Widerhaken müssen im "Inneren" einen Widerstand überwinden. Das Originalteil ist flexibler und kann per Hand leicht zusammengedrückt werden; für die Ersatzteile empfehle ich den Knopf solange gerade und vorsichtig hineinzudrücken, bis die Haken so weit nachgegeben haben, dass sie "hineinrutschen".

Weitere Hinweise:
Es ist, je nach Druckqualität möglich, dass die Knöpfe ab und zu etwas hängen oder Widerstand leisten. Falls sie unbrauchbar sind, empfiehlt es sich die Flächen mit feinem Schleifpaper nachzubearbeiten. Die Knöpfe müssen weniger weit als beim Original hinein gedrückt werden, um das Gehäuse zu entriegeln.
