The Spring pendant lamp is a vibrant and multifaceted tribute to the wonders of the plant kingdom, a design object that transforms any space with its light and color. This unique creation is inspired by the lush tropical forests and the ephemeral beauty of flowers, bringing nature inside the home in a way never seen before.

At the heart of Spring is its lampshade, designed to accommodate e14 led bulbs. Completing the Spring pendant lamp requires adding a standard threaded M28x2 bulb holder, the base on which everything else is built. The rings included in the project ensure that the bulb holder is securely fastened.

Colors are central to Spring's design. By changing the palette, one can range from bright and bold shades, perfect for a space with a young and dynamic spirit, to more subdued and sophisticated tones, ideal for a modern and elegant environment. Each chosen color is reflected in the light emitted by the lamp, creating different atmospheres in line with the surrounding interior design. Additionally, the choice of a textured print plate can add vibrancy and effect to the visible parts, such as the petals, which in addition to their design can transform the Spring pendant lamp into a true visual experience that captures attention at every glance.

The structure of Spring consists of a central disc from which a corolla of ten PLA-printed petals radiates. At the center is the pistil, an optional element made with a vase mode print, featuring a special decoration on the outer surface. The pistil is not just an aesthetic detail; it focuses light at the center and creates a play of shadows and colors that can vary depending on the type of bulb and the color chosen during the printing phase. For example, it can transform Spring from a bar pendant lamp with direct light downwards and concentrated light effects around the center, to a pendant lamp with diffused light by removing it. The second disc, consisting of a double row of small petals, has a dual function: it is both an integrated decorative element with the rest of the product design and a ring that keeps the pistil anchored to the rest of the structure.

To realize Spring, careful planning in 3D printing is essential. Supports are necessary for printing the discs, and a 0.4 nozzle and 0.2 layers are needed. The filling varies depending on the component: for the lampshade, a 15% fill is recommended, while for other parts, a 100% fill is chosen to ensure solidity and prevent visual artifacts when the lamp is on.

Spring is not just a lighting object; it is a design experiment that marries technology with nature, modernity with environmentalism. Each lamp is an ode to the earth, an invitation to reflect on the beauty of the natural world and our place in it. With Spring, light becomes an expression of life, growth, and continual transformation.
