Description

Universal Clamp for Windmill

On the top Site it has a hole to fit perfectly the rod from Hexagon & Toroidal Windmill.

(Added V2 Print Profile with second hole for 0° and 90° mounting.)

Use the screw clamp to securely attach the wind turbine.

For example, to balcony railings, window sills or other boards and poles.

Screw Clamp fits up to 45mm square and Ø45mm pipes!

 

If you only use the full size, i added a alternative short screw on build-plate 2 ✔

 

The Clamp uses a simply mechanism which is easy to print, it does the job great! ✔

 

I printed in Basic PLA without problems ✔

 

 

Assembly:

  1. Screw the handle in, you can grease a bit if you want
  2. Place the loose jaw in place and screw in one time completly togheter. The Cone from the Screw should snap in the loose jaw.
  3. Place the rod from the windmill in the hole on the top.
  4. Find a good place and screw on gently

I had to make it a bit bigger, but I used the original print profile. It holds the windmill well.

Feels solid and works great. first one I turned on supports and forgot.to check boluild plate only. I was able to drill it out. 2nd one came out perfect once I checked the box. printed in PETG

Very good project but a little piece has broken when mounting it, so I worked on a slicer for a TPU profile

Dryed PLA still works good. PETG is the better choice.
