The Mjölnir SPG (Self Propelled Gun) is an artillery piece designed from characteristics of the Chinese PLZ-05, Italian Palmaria, but mostly the Russian Msta-S. The Mjölnir is named after Thor’s hammer, which according to Norse mythology could always hit the same spot. The Mjölnir uses the same chassis as the GT1, but without the level of armour protection afforded the GT1. The body’s frontal armor 80mm and sides 30mm as well as 30mm on the turret and with 10mm at the rear of the vehicle and 5mm on the roof. This is not a lot of armor but it is meant as mobile artillery and not a front line vehicle.
Weapon: 155mm gun firing HE (High Explosive) that causes splash damage, WP (White Phosphorus) or Smoke rounds. Vehicle weight is 45000 kg.
Size of model when completed 165mm length, 90mm width, 83mm high.
Note Gun snaps in and needs no glue.
