3D model description

A pickup truck designed for hanging keys. When keys are hung, the rear wheel rolls backward.

I wanted a daily-use item that reflects my hobbies: mechanical principles, 3D printing, and cars. It also adds aesthetic value to the hallway.

I believe it turned out well. I recommend heating a spring and adding it to the designated spot (visible in the picture). This aids in overcoming initial friction, especially when the surface is rough. As it's used more or smoothed over time, the spring becomes less necessary, but it's a worthwhile addition.

The backplate is the part which the mechanism is attached to. I chose this because I was concerned about potential breakage. So far, it hasn't occurred, but if it does, it's less time-consuming and costly to replace than if it were on the main piece. Also, I am planning to paint it, if something breaks off the mechanism, I would only need to repaint the back plate and not the whole car.
