3D model description

// This is for the smaller magnetic containers, that can be used to store bits or glued together to make simple but detailed terrain pieces. See other listings for the larger container or the complete set!

Did you spend alot of time magnetizing a bunch of weapons for a cool grimdark vehicle, then feel it's lame putting them in a baggy or spare tupperware and so you want another option? Or do you want some cool grimdark space themed cargo containers for your tabletop games? Well now you can do both! I had this great idea to hide my extra tank weapons in a cargo container, so I decided to design my own. Magnets I used are below, and some important notes about printing the models.

  • 6mm x 2mm magnets for connecting holders with different heights for main weapons using the 6mm magnets.
  • 3mm x 2mm magnets for connecting small weapons to mounts as well as the container halves together.

  • Magnet holders fit in metal grating inside the container or on top, and provide a secure glue connection and easy to follow grid pattern.

  • Magnet holders are designed with hypothetically stacking the 6mm magnets, but only need one magnet each. 6mm x1, x2, x3, etc.

  • Models are not hollow, and not recommended to do so. Thick walls are required to structural rigidity, so I have designed the container to use as much open space inside but still be strong.

  • 2mm drainage holes are have been placed in the top section grating to prevent suction force, and can be plugged easily. I used short pieces of 1.75 mm filament and painted over.

  • Presupported files are included

  • I have not tested FDM, but should be possible with proper supports.
