Description

I designed this box with my own use in mind, getting on in life I now find myself with a few pills to take a couple of times a day, it's a chore taking them out of bubble packs etc each day so I've come up with this little compartment box.

I wanted to design this box so it stopped at each compartment with a click, I didn't achieve that but using segments in the lid and then using them to cut into the base and forming a groove along the cut out segments I have nearly achieved what I had in mind it does stop at each segment so it's near enough, I've made the box small enough for my needs but no reason why the box couldn't be scaled up.

Another thing was this, the original lid was really tight in fact that tight I couldn't get it off or revolve it which wasn't very good so I scaled the lid only up in the slicer by 1mm, this is still a snug fit when clipped into place but turning the lid a couple of times it releases nicely, but is still hard to get the lid off, so I've left it at that, if you want a tight-ish fit but it still revolves nicely then offset the lid only to 101mm overall if you want a looser fit but easier to remove then 101.2mm which is the model in the files, click on the lid then adjust the X axis only but ensure the uniform scale box is checked.

There we have it, a useful compartment box which could be useful for other things as well, component/Parts box etc.

Thanks for Looking
