3D model description

This is a flying saucer hanging lamp. You can hang it or stand it on a table or desk.

It uses this Hanging Lantern Cord
with a 37mm diameter socket. It's easy to assemble. You just slide the cord through the opening of the flying saucer then gently push the socket in until it stops. Thread on the the beam and then screw in the LED light bulb (Standard E26 bulb, must be LED, no more than 9 watt). I recommend one of the color changing ones with remote for best effect. They can be procured for around $5. I got mine at a local dollar store.

I recommend printing the Clamp test to ensure that the flying saucer securely clamps your socket before proceeding with the full print job.

You could print this entire thing support free, however, you will likely require a bit of post processing of rough edges. I recommend using normal support touching buildplate at between 65-70 degrees for the flying saucer and no supports for the beam.
