This was designed for a 2020 BMC Teammachine SLR01 by will fit other years/models with the same seatpost geometry. Please check to ensure compatibility before printing.

Have a BMC Teammachine with a D-shaped seatpost that creates problems with mounting a Garmin Varia? I know I did. The included rubber band mount for the Varia is intended for round seatposts and none of the adaptors quite fit right. This mounting system was clunky and would never would stay exactly in the right position.

To solve this problem, I designed a hard-mounted clamp specifically to fit the BMC Teammachine's seatpost geometry. This hinged design prints in place and conveniently attaches to the seat post using a GoPro-style mounting design.

You will need one M5 nut and one M5 bolt to attach this mount.

This hard-mount clamp has excellent strength and the two-piece design allows you to angle the Varia into any reasonable position.

The included print profile has the necessary supports painted on. I printed this mount in ABS for it's overall strength, vibration and UV resistance. There in a small amount of pesky (but necessary) support material inside the Garmin attachment socket- remember to clear this out or the lifespan of the attachment point will be reduced.

The portion that interfaces with the Garmin device can come out a little tight- but after a few turns against the Varia it should free up nicely.
