Description

The Mario Star Christmas tree topper is a great addition to your family's Christmas tree decorating tradition to bring out the kid in all of us! Super short and simple light box print design using a standard RGB Bluetooth string and phone charger block to connect to the tree topper plug and control from your smart phone. Turn on 7 color strobe to go super power star mode while you or your kids go running around the room yelling “DO DO DOO DODO DO DO DOO DOO-(repeated)” -Super star song! Use your preferred method to glue the base to the back plate after installing the LED strip, glue in the tree peg and finally, place and Enjoy. Merry Christmas everyone!

This was my first multicolor print using the AMS and it came out great. In photos the star looks basically white when lit but in person the color is a lot closer to the yellow in the unlit photo. I printed the base in black instead of white which I think gives it a bit of a lower profile look.

kids love it! printed in Bambu matte lemon yellow, looks great. I recommend slowing down the first few layers though, as I got some gapping around the eyes on my first try at the default rate, which was perfect after slowing. The linked leds work well, and you can do just over two perimeters around the inside of the star with it for a really even glow. I initially used an old tiny iPhone usb power block for the linked light strip, but it quickly got hot and switched off. Worked fine with a bigger usb block.

I was wondering if you can make the yellow thicker? Right now it's only .48 thick, only 2 layers. Yellow is to translucent, when back lit it's showing up white. It's all modeled in one part so I cant separate it to change it. I would need it about doubled, 3 layers yellow, one white. Thanks

I'll post an alternate profile for you to try if you'd like as the existing one you are right is 2 layers yellow and 1 layer white for light diffusion but ill make this one 4 layers total of 3 yellow/1 white.
