Locking clip for 15-6x110 gas struts

The gas struts in my girlfriends roof box for the car are old and doesn't hold the lid open any more. I designed this part to simply snap on to the push rod forcing the strut open. When not in use the clip snaps to the cylinder for convenient storage.

I printed in PLA with 4 perimiters and 15% infill. The idea was to prototype with PLA and then print them in ABS or nylon for better weather resistance. However, we have used prototype version 1 on the car for a couple of years now without any issues. 

I have included the .f360 file for you to modify the parameters to suite your specific needs.
