Description

Propeller toy in the shape of a flying saucer.

Fun toy to play. Even with more weight than the normal propeller it still flys very high. On the shown GIF I didn't pull the rack all the way because I didn't want to damage my ceiling but there is potential to let it fly really high! 😉

Externals

For launching the flying saucer, you need to make the “Overpowered Heli Launcher” before:

Replying to @fadel.farae18 :
Did you change the infill and wall settings of the print profile? For sure it's heavier than the normal rotors, but with 2 walls and 10% infill it should still be able to fly high enough.

adhesion of veins to the outer rim didn't work on 4+ of the veins. maybe I'll try reprinting with the strength setting

Hi, can you provide a picture? Maybe your print is suffering from underextruded filament. But in my opinion that's strange because after slicing the profile there are just two points with double placed seams where this could propably happen when suffering from underextrusion. On every other connection point the slicer should at least connect 1 line to the outer rim directly without retracting. Changing to the strength profile will change nothing to this behaviour (it will stay 2 walls on the "wings" part), but it will just add more weight because of the middle section will now have 6 walls instead of 2 (maybe it will get too heavy to fly properly).
