Hi there!

 

I'm thrilled to release my 3D printed pumpkin with a crochet effect!

Using a handcrafted crochet pattern, I've tried my hardest to give the pumpkin a really realistic crocheted effect.

 

Its multifunctionality as well! The hollow interior is ideal for sweets. But there's more! Place an LED light within for maximum spooky effect.

 

Print with supports enabled for the best finish.

Had a weird issue where it would print a little and then lower the bed, reset the position to continue printing. Lead to a lot of stringing.

It is really cute and print on the exterior looks great! Bridging on the mouth was sketchy, once I cleaned it up it looked cool. Prints really slow for it's size more than sturdy! overall I like it!

it printed pretty well, but I suspect that especially with the enclosure the mouth could have used some supports as I had to clear away a fair bit of stringing. Otherwise it looks good. Update: bumping from 4 to 5 stars after printing the lid. The lack of purge tower saved on filament and still turned out great. If your machine is enclosed and your filament sags, open the door.
