Description

Overview

This is a mount for a mallet to SKÅDIS, which uses the T Nut System made by 6d6178 My SKÅDIS is mounted to my Raskog Cart, so I put my Halder 40mm Simplex Mallet up for storage. Realistically, it should work for your 40mm mallet, and could probably be scaled up to fit.

T Nut Screw Specs

The T nut system uses M2 or M2.5 screws to mount to the IKEA SKÅDIS pegboard system.

I'm only including an M2.5 version here because to be honest, it is what I had on hand and don't think many people use the M2 version. I am also including a .STEP file so you can modify as needed.

  • The longest screw you can use is 24mm long ex. M2.5x24
  • The shortest screw you can use is 12mm long ex. M2.5x12

I personally used these: https://www.mcmaster.com/91290A104/ but McMaster-Carr is expensive, so you could use Amazon if needed to find them.

You might have to use supports, depending on your printers overhang skills, etc. YMMV. Print the mount of + two of the T Nuts (M2.5) from here.

Terms

Print with something strong, no supports needed. I used NuMakers PLA+ on my Bambu Lab X1 Carbon.
