Description
I created this profile to print clear PETG as close as possible to glass clear.
In the pictures I'm using Bambulab PETG Transparent.

prints well as-is. 0.4 nozzle. better with dry filament. some sanding for better results.

turns out great, a lot of sanding and it is almost 100% clear. There is only a little shadow of layerlines. Pic. 1 blocked light with electrical tape on the edges. pic. 2 no blocking of the light.

When loading this profile, only PLA is shown in the filaments. Your profile does not account for PETG and any of the specific cooling settings in the filament section.

Used this profile to try and print a transparent cap for my X-acto knife. Worked fairly well.

Very interesting, still some visible lines but there is some really clear parts vertically through the rectilinear infill.

Used precisely the same profile but didn’t really obtain glass-like results. Might be to do with the filament I used (Giantarm).

no issues and made the print a lot stronger and it was fairly clear

Came out surprisingly clear with Inland PETG transparent. Made a nice little replacement for the glass a dog broke.
