Hello, the quality and glossiness of your model are very good. What brand of consumables do you use? I don't think pla basic has that effect. Is that silk?

I had no major issues with the profile for this build. only had to make some small orientation adjustments for some of the smaller pieces. otherwise awesome job and great designer!

I have a question on the main piece of the helmet the tabs that had magnet holes on them broke off any ideas on how to fix this

Really good file. love the modularit. my only issue was the magnet holes were too small in diameter to fit the 10mm magnets I got which actually measure 9.97 mm so had to widen the holes with a soldering gun. a little messy but worked out. first helmet I’ve ever done and was for my son’s birthday. he loved it.

great print file. I slowed the print down to silent or 50 percent to get a better finish on the cheek and eye pieces and same on the helmet portion because supports collapse on first try.

I had supports collapse on the helmet too, what would you recommend in your opinion as I don't have access to a laptop at the moment?

I’d change the tree setting to strong and just in case use glue for the bed. I guess this does a lot.

i had my tree supports fail 30 hours into the 35 hour print of the large helmet piece too....About to give up trying to print these helmets.

Maston - metallic gold Colour it - gloss red or Hycote car spray in post office van red (apologies I cant remember which as I also made a spiderman mask at the same time and cant remember which one i painted with which red) The grey is just the primer with a gloss acrylic clear coat All covered in a Maston - Gloss acrylic clear coat. All the paints were bought from 'the range' if you live in the UK. You can probably get all these on Amazon too
