Marking Gauge Tool

Hi everyone! I'm a carpenter, and I often need a tool for precise marking. I've seen many different projects online, but I couldn't find one that satisfied all of my needs. That's why I decided to create a completely new project based on my own requirements. At the same time, it's a project that's easily replicable and accessible to everyone.

Let me list some of the things my project is based on:

The pencil lead should be flush with the bottom of the guide. This will help us avoid skewing during marking.

A quick clamp that won't shift position when tightened.

Compactness so that you can work in hard-to-reach places and start as close to the beginning of the workpiece as possible.
