Description

This is a small parts storage system made up of different sized storage compartments that snap together like Legos do.

Each box stack on top of each other. With 1 x 2 boxes and 1 x 1 boxes so you can make any combination you want for your needs.

There's single trays for the 1 x 1 boxes and larger trays for the 1 x 2 boxes. There's 2 types of larger trays. One that is split and one that is just one big tray.

The Double Boxes are 2inch by 4inch and single ones are 2inch by 2inch in size.

There's blank name plates that are stl's. That can either be printed as blanks or modified to add your own wording.

Also included is a shelf that mounts to the wall so you can stack these on top. This brace is made for 5 single boxes or 2 doubles and a single or you can put them together with a joiner wedge and add more.

The pieces can be pretty snug to get together.

All files are printed in standard Bambu Settings

UPDATES:

10/28/2023 - (UPDATED 10/29/2023) Wall brace is tested now and works good. (Shown in second picture). Still working on joiner wedge to work properly but it really is not needed. Will update when it does.

I was trying to find a nice way to store my M screws and other odds and end things. Decided I would design something myself. Please let me know if you have any improvements or concerns. I hope you enjoy

Have you tried to scale these models up at all? I did a test bath of the prints and they were smaller than I had anticipated and was considering trying to scale them up in order to hold additional screws.

I have not tried to do that yet. I don’t see a issue with it not working. I just had the intention of using them for smaller items. Please let me know if you do try it and if it works. you could print a Double and Single box and see if they connect well

Not sure why the bottom stuck to the plate too well but I didn't have this problem with other prints. Not sure if the supports affected this a little bit.

I am not sure. I did not have that issue. Always waited till plate cooled then print fell right off plate

Did you ever get a chance to upload the larger box that is only 1 compartment? If you did I seem to be overlooking it. I can only find the larger box that has the center divider in it.
