Description

The steel skid shoes on my Toro 2 Stage Snowblower were scratching the surface coatings on my asphault driveway. This plastic one doesn't leave marks. Recommended to print with 100% infill and of a tough, temperature resistant material such as ASA or ABS. 100% infill is needed as this is designed to ablate away as it rubs on the ground - the more material you have there, the longer it will last before you have to replace it.

This version is designed to reuse the original bolts. The photos show it installed on my 1028LXE.

Due to the cost of printing with ASA at 100% infill, I recommend printing out a test print on draft mode first to check fit on your particular unit.

After a season of light use (I use my plow for most things, but the blower for cleaning up heavy drifts that I can't get the plow through), there is very little material removed off the bottom of the skids printed at 100% from ASA. I think this is going to last a few seasons at least before it needs to be flipped or replaced.
