Description

I loved Humebeam's dessicant box design for his AMS Hydra Mod and adapted it for cereal container dry boxes. As with the original I HIGHLY recommend using a M3 socked head bolt from 6-10mm long to pin the lid in place, the dessicant beads go all over the place easily if they get out. No supports needed, bridging should work fine. I printed mine in ABS but anything should work.

you only put the container for the silica, where can I find the rest of the components for the complete dry box? thank you

The base is here, but I use a negative space in Bambu Studio to cut off the dessicant box section in favor of mine: https://www.builditmakeit.com/projects/3d-filament-drybox The nut for the PTFE fitting is here: https://www.printables.com/model/560631-cereal-box-pneumatic-ptfe-fitting-nut

any chance you could post that remix since I'm using the same rollers but the dessicant box has been a nightmare. I spent most of last night cleaning out beads from my printer room floor because one of the containers opened and fell :( so I would gladly reprint all my sets of roller assemblies to avoid that... althought thinking about it I could probably do some kind of cutter job on them and remove the dessicant box since the bridge between the rollers and the box is very thin... might do that but strill if you could post your remix it would be awesome for future use

Love this box! Can you possibly share what the “wheels” are that you’re using in the cereal box that your spool sits on?

Simple print. Allows me to ad a few extra containers to the box to keep filament dry.
