Description

EN:

Revised version of the rear roller for the Hydra Pro AMS.

The rollers in the back with guides didn't really make sense to me.
In my case, they don't properly center the filament spool, nor do they prevent the spool from rubbing against the left or right side of the AMS housing.
Unfortunately, the guidance aids from the original Hydra system are no longer available on the Hydra Pro.

With my slightly modified version, the spools run in the center and can no longer rub against the sides of the AMS.

Now, there is always a 2mm distance on the left side, allowing the use of spools up to a width of 75mm. Many common 800g-1kg filament spools, such as Prusament, eSUN, Bambu, M4P, Extrudr, should fit.

Important! Note from Creator Humebeam:
Regarding the original: There is no need for an outer edge, the side walls keep it in place. In fact, the outer edge will limit the spool widths.
Position one is for large spools, position two is for smaller spools. The inner lip is to prevent thin spools from hitting the feeder (not a big worry though).

Of course, if you mainly use very small spools or the full 79mm spool width for printing, you are probably better off with the original.
If you still want to protect your Hydra Pro from abrasion or wear,
What will arrive sooner or later (as can be seen in one of the pictures) and can do without 4mm width is served by this change.

DE:

Darunter sollten viele gängige 800g-1Kg Filamentspulen passen (Prusament, eSUN, Bambu, M4P, Extrudr).

Wichtig! Anmerkung vom Creator Humebeam:
Regarding the original: There is no need for an outer edge, the side walls keep it in place. In fact, the outer edge will limit the spool widths.
Position one is for large spools, position two is for smaller spools. The inner lip is to preventing thin spools it hitting the feeder (not a big worry though).
