Description

V3 Update: Everyone I show this to wants one so I made the effort to clean it up and make it easier to use.

Filaments used in still pics:

Dragon - OVV3D Tri-Color PLA - Red, Yellow, Blue - Amazon link (no affiliation) - https://a.co/d/h7g1v2X

Base - MIKA3D Silk Shiny PLA - Silk Gold - Amazon link (no affiliation) - https://a.co/d/3jUFsBn

Changes:

Fixed top surface of the lid, there were some artifacts from the original model

Made the incense insertion access hole much bigger

Modified the lid to remove overhangs

Modified the lid to use gyroid infill at 25% to help prevent the lid from warping

Fixed some small areas in the main body that were unsupported cantilevers

Turned off ironing, I've noticed different filaments need different flow percentage settings. Ironing looks nice on this if you tune flow % to your filament.

Added support blocking to the holes in the dragon's feet

V2:

***UPDATED***

I apologize, I uploaded the wrong version. This one has negative parts added so it's easier to insert the incense.

Hi Lelus78, what kind of problem did you have? I've made 9 of these so far. Early version had some issues with unsupported overhangs but only caused some visual imperfections on the inside. Also, I did not make this design, just remixed it and made a lot of modifications in bambu studio to make it functional.

Replying to @ctcarlton :
The main issue was actually a significant warping on the lid, which may be attributed to the type of PLA I used (wood PLA). At times, the behavior of this PLA differs from standard PLA, and there were some problems during the printing of the final part of the dragon horns. I'm not sure if it was due to Z-hop or another factor. Overall, the print turned out well.

Pretty cool. I used silk purple and silk gold. As an after edit, the incense stick goes out after a while. Doesn't seem to be enough airflow maybe? Also, 1 suggestion - make a slide insert for the stick holder. It's very difficult putting the stick in the holder. Then you could put the incense stick in the holder on the tray and slide the tray into the back. To empty and clean, you slide the tray back out.

Sorry to anyone who printed the first version I uploaded. I chose a previous version of my project by mistake. It will be difficult to insert the incense without the negative parts. Please use the UPDATED version.

Everyone loves it! Smoke comes out of the mouth as well, so cool. I'm gonna try and figure out how to keep the PETG from melting, maybe using some foil inside.
