UPDATE 28 OCT 2023

Thank you for the feedback, I have updated the design to version 2. This has better tolerance and should fit better. If you want to try your hand to add your own logo, try using the updated blank.

INTRODUCTION

Customize your window button. Fast, easy to print and multi-colour. There are currently 3 design options. In addition, I have uploaded a step file of the blank version. So you can try adding your preferred image. Do remember to credit me when using the blank.

Below is what the blank looks like. I have uploaded the STEP file (A1 Window Button Blank v2.step). Do print it out to test it on your A1mini before you start adding your design to it. I would advise the design to be at least 0.6mm thick. That means 3 layers (assuming u are using 0.2mm layer height).

To date, my designs are free to download and use. There is no Patreon or OnlyFan (hahaha). If you like my designs and wish to contribute to my coffee addiction & help fund the filaments and materials needed for prototyping, a donation of $5-$10 to Ko-fi or paypal.me will be greatly appreciated.

CAVEAT

As with all my designs, Prototyping and testing were conducted to ensure printability and meet my own expectations. However, I understand it may and may not work for you. I would request that you read all instructions and print and install them at your own discretion.

hmmm. I got my A1 mini at the same time as content creators. Let me double-check again with the others who got their machine from regular production. thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for the photo. That is a lot smaller than what I have. Mine was around 3.65mm. After checking with others on discord, The pre-production version of A1 (mine version) does have a larger diameter. I have created a 3mf version with 3.45mm diameter. Do try it out to see if it works.

Pops off the shaft all the time, needed to manually/mechanically alter the hole to get it to stay there print came out nice tho

Thank you for providing the blanks. The file "A1 Window Button Blank V2.step" is for sure a little big, it jams under the cover due to binding with it on an A1 Mini. However nothing that isn't easily fixable. The bit that really mattered for me (the hole for attachment) works perfectly and it clicks nicely into place. Have done a little remix and as soon as I have a boost one is coming your way. Thanks again.
