It's necessary to use transparent filament


This is a print profile for a solid block of the material, achieving higher mechanical strength and transparency for transparent materials, The critical factor is 107% flow of the material, Slower speed, and a bit higher print temperature. You can use it on your own model, For example, optical lenses, Solid blocks with hollow inside, etc.

You can slightly tune it by yourself, for example slower print speed 10-15mm/s, or use higher extruder temp. 260°C.



For post-process, you can sand it with sandpaper, and for a totally clear look use a hot airgun, lighter, or torch.

maybe it is working with a beefier parts, but wasnt working on a 4 wall print

hi, its made mainly for solid blocks, but you can achieve transparent look with slower print speed i thing.

Awesome! I needed to print the top part of a few Star Wars control panel buttons in clear petg and this worked will.

Hi, i just add it into buildplate 2, you can try it. its solid block with hollow snowflake inside. :)

Instructions on how to clear it were nice. Printed with ESun petg clear Reminder that with the way the print is setup, when you heat it, it will shrink some depending on the size and shape of your print.
