I really enjoyed the original design but found that it didn't quite suit my needs for my core XY 3D printer, which differs from the Voron 2.4. Since my printer's bed is positioned higher up in the structure, using the clips at a 45-degree angle didn't make sense for me. Instead, I opted for a design that attaches directly to 2020 series aluminum extrusions, allowing the clips to sit parallel to the build surface with no angle.

This remix accommodates 8mm wide LED strips with a thickness of 1.5mm and a 16.5mm distance between LEDs. The clips provide a snug fit for the LEDs, eliminating the need for glue.

Remember to mirror the design when printing if you want left to right symmetry. For a reference, the pictures shown have no extra illumination but LEDs on both sides (about 16 LEDs per side).

3D printing settings

Stay away of PLA if you can since the LEDs tend to get hot and there is a chance of it melting. I've used PETG and so far is holding nicely.

2 perimeters should be sufficient and even no infill would work well, but up to you.
