Description

4x14 truck platform with wheels and cabin

Classic copyrightinfringment wagons/trolleys may be hooked behind

Apply some grease/oil on the wheel pins, otherwise you might suffer serious headaches from squeaky noises :-) at least when printed in PLA.

I love the epic style of this truck, and I would love to see further iterations of it in the future. My boy likes the amount of wheels. The only small issue I see is the connection style of the cabin. It only grabs 4 pins on the back, but none at the front. Would be nice to update this part. I would imagine a set of teeth in the front, to hold onto the pins on the front. Otherwise currently the cabin can fall off easily. A second wish would be to have further bases with 12 of 8 wheels, with connections at the front and the back, to create an epic train-like automobile.

Well there is a tank and a crane add-on, but that is a work I do save for long winter nights, so maybe in half a year :-) 12 or 8 wheel trailers - those might be doable in a short time. Will definitelly look into rework of the cabin ASAP.

Oh wow, the crane looks really promising. Yeah, some trailers are easy, just the same frame but with the claps connector at the one end. Tank looks cool as well, though not really Duplo topic :D Otherwise, I see potential in the topic of space. When I looked onto your model, it reminded me to some '80 style scifi space vehicle.

Well my kids are about 4 years, so duplo tank is a fair game :-D Just uploaded the reworked cabin (V2), should work fine - but I won´t print it, got plenty of those.

Thanks for the rating. Btw did you print the second version of the cabin? If so, how does it fit? :-)
