Description

Don't you hate it when your kitchen towel is wet and crumbled pushed through the handle of your cabinet?

Fear no more, i've got the perfect solution!

The kitchen cabinet handle bar holds your towels, frees your cabinet handle and takes care of a clean look as well.

Perfect for drying the towel!

Maybe this is the print that you need to convince your wife/husband/significant other that owning a 3D-Printer is necessary!

I also added a single hook: https://makerworld.com/de/models/96624

Instructions:

Just print the 3 parts, everything further needed is just a bit of 1.75mm filament left-overs and 1 minute to assemble it:

  1. Put the parts together:
  2. Stick the filament in the holes (For extra style-points use a different colour!)
  3. cut the filament ends flush
  4. place the towel hanger
  5. happy wife - happy life

Please share your make! :)

I tired it two different times and the model came off during print. never had this issue with any other job.

that’s odd, which plate do you use? I used the high temp plate with PLA. I added a new profile for the textured plate with brim, this should solve it, could you please report back? Adhesion is a neverending story in 3d-Printing, i clean my textured plate with 99.9% IPA between prints and every now and then i clean the whole plate with dawn dish soap and warm water. After drying it is like new again. :)

Bambu Textured PEI plate. I really wanted to like this, I tried twice, as you can see. I figured it might just be a fluke as I have not had any issues with previous prints.

thanks for the reply, I added the second profile with added brim for you to try, but I recommend the hot plate for that :)

It does force my cabinet door to sit open slightly, but perfect print, so nice to have the towel hanging flat.

That's a great suggestion, don't know whyI hadn't thought about it - probably because it didn't bother me enough. Thanks for the nice functional design.

that will be a little bit shorter due to the smaller build plate Volume, but I can give it a try! in the meantime you could try to print my other overengineered Kitchen Hook! :)
