Description

Jar has a removable lid, just screws off.

I designed this with as large an opening as possible so you can put objects in it almost the same depth as the jar. The included model is approx. 106x86x138mm, scale both the jar and lid up or down in your slicer to get the size you need.

There is a 0.19mm clearance between the threads of jar and lid so it should be easy to screw on and off, if your printer isn't too great and there is too much play or you can't screw the lid on then scale the LID up or down by around 1% in your slicer. A little tip, if you want the lid to look sweet and have better grip then apply the fuzzy skin texture setting in your slicer to the OUTER perimeter.

The model of the jar is a solid body, not shelled, this is so you can print this in vase mode to have a nice clean print with no seams. Depending on your printer capabilities I'd recommend going for 1mm walls with a 0.8mm nozzle 0.25mm layer height and print SLOW for good strength and quality but you do you. I use minimum 4 bottom layers but use more if you plan to put in heavier items or you want a nice solid heavy base.

If you want a very hard wearing durable jar, print the JAR with ZERO infill, NO top layers and PLENTY of perimeter walls and bottom layers.

NO SUPPORTS REQUIRED

I've included a 3mf MESH file and step file of a plain jar and lid (no text or logo emboss/deboss) but if you want to customise and label the jar + lid I've also included the Fusion360 file for you to edit as you need, this file already has the emboss parametric in place you just edit the text as required.

No, you cannot use these files to sell on, personal use only/make for a friend.

I hope you like this model, all I ask is you please post your makes and give the model a quick review, it really means a lot to me to see other peoples prints and uses, I always buzz off of it.

If you have any requests or suggestions hit me up.
