Description

Loved the base model as the top was a very nice tight fit but still removable. But the slits were too large at 1.6mm allowing the many smaller (broken) bits of the Dry & Dry dessicant to easily escape. Remixed it to have 1mm slots throughout and virtually none of the dessicant escapes now. Added a stabilizing horizonal bar in the middle so that the vertical bars don't wobble too much and cause print quality issues. Other than that it has the exact same easy clip top and a good holding capacity.

DO NOT use the Bambu Handy option to print multiple of the single instance plate. If you do it consistently leaves a large blob on top of the lid in the same location every time. I've added 2x, 3x and 4x plates to allow printing multiple without hitting this cloud slicing bug.

I printed 10 of these boxes in Sunlu Meta Grey. the function is just perfect. i use them for my filament storage. Had to remove 1 star for the blob it prints every time. you can remove the blob with pliers

yes, I printed them three times. Two times 4 boxes and one time two boxes

Printed with Overture black PLA. Turned out great. I didn't get the blob and the lid fits on tightly. Actually, it would be nice if there was a better way to get the lids off. I found it somewhat difficult. Overall, great model! Thanks!

Were you printing a single instance (box + lid)? I have a theory the blob only happens if you ask bambu to print multiple.

I printed three at once the first time. I also printed a single one later. I didn't get the blob either time on any of them. I did slice them myself, but I used the settings of the print profile.

Printed 2x box with PLA without any big problem except I am out of ideas why I got these blobs there on each of them in exact place.

My theory is this only happens if you tell bambu to print multiple copies.

It holds the desiccant and snaps together nicely.

Printed fine, but had the same blob as some of the other printers. Didnt analyse where it came from, its functional. Thanks! Tips: Make the lid a bit more tight and make a small handle to make it easier to open the tighter lid.
